At the Workshop, after watching a clip promoting the tourism potential of the provinces and cities in the Cau River basin, representatives of localities and businesses shared many passionate discussions, focusing on exploiting the specific strengths of each locality, developing green and smart tourism products, and at the same time proposing solutions to build a series of tours connecting provinces such as Bac Kan - Thai Nguyen - Bac Giang - Bac Ninh - Hanoi - Hai Duong, aiming to form diverse and attractive experiential itineraries for domestic and international tourists.

Delegates from the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, the Vietnam Tourism Association, the provinces of Hanoi, Bac Ninh, Bac Giang, Thai Nguyen, Hai Duong and Bac Kan, as well as representatives of travel agencies and investors, all agreed that the Song Cau basin possesses extremely diverse and unique natural and cultural resources, capable of forming attractive linked tourism products such as eco-tourism, agricultural tourism, cultural and historical tourism, etc. Proper investment and effective connection will turn this area into a new key destination in the Northeast region. In the context of deep international integration, the cooperation, sharing of experiences and mutual support among localities will not only help to maximize the strengths of each province, but also create a combined strength, enhancing competitiveness on the national and international tourism map.
Businesses and travel organizations signed memorandums of understanding at the Workshop.
The highlight of the workshop was the signing ceremony of memorandums of understanding between the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Department of Tourism of provinces and cities; the Vietnam Tourism Association and travel agencies and organizations of provinces in the basin. These agreements focus on promoting destinations, developing new products and linking tours.
Concluding the workshop, Chairman of Bac Kan Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Dang Binh emphasized: "Today's workshop has opened up new directions for sustainable tourism development in the Cau River basin. Bac Kan is committed to accompanying businesses, investors and other provinces in creating a favorable, transparent and effective business environment."
The Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Kan province also affirmed that with the joint efforts of all levels, sectors and the business community, tourism in the Cau River basin will grow strongly, becoming an attractive destination on the national and international tourism map. "We believe that, together, we will build a green tourism corridor, connect and diversify products, bringing long-term benefits to the community and businesses. The seminar on promoting investment and developing tourism in the Cau River basin 2025 has ended, but the ideas, commitments and cooperation at the event will continue to spread, contributing to building a dynamic and sustainably developing tourism region for a common future" - Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Kan province said.

Before the workshop, leaders of departments, branches, and tourism businesses inside and outside the province participated in a field survey in My Thanh commune, Cay Thi Temple, and the Thac Gieng Hydropower Lake area in Bach Thong district. These are places with great potential for developing ecotourism, community tourism, and sustainable agriculture in Bac Kan province. The survey helped businesses have a realistic view of the upstream area of the Cau River, while also opening up many ideas for new tourism products associated with nature and indigenous culture.
At the same time as the Workshop, the area displaying OCOP products and typical tourism products of 6 provinces and cities in the Cau River basin at the walking street of Bac Kan city attracted a large number of visitors. The unique agricultural products and handicrafts not only reflect local identity but also open up the potential for tourism development associated with the experience and consumption of local products./.
