With the careful preparation of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the People's Committee of Pac Nam district, a colorful Mong ethnic cultural space was created. From early morning, a large number of locals and tourists gathered at the venue to participate in and cheer on the activities. Traditional games such as spinning tops, stilt walking, pao throwing, and panpipe playing... stirred up the highland space, creating a bustling and exciting atmosphere.

Adults, children, and tourists from near and far join in the games, not only for entertainment but also to experience and deeply feel the unique folk culture of the Mong ethnic group.

Within the framework of the event, localities and Pac Nam district also organized exhibitions with traditional products, costumes, props and ethnic cuisine, bringing a colorful Mong ethnic cultural space.

In the afternoon of the same day, the Mong ethnic cultural exchange program with the theme "The sound of the Khen calls friends" contributed to spreading the love of ethnic culture to a large number of delegates, tourists and local people.

Speaking at the opening of the Program, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Thi Dung emphasized: The Mong ethnic cultural exchange program is an opportunity to honor and introduce good traditional cultural values, contributing to preserving and promoting national identity in the period of integration and development.

The program took place with special art performances such as: Excerpts from the Gau Tao ritual - a traditional blessing festival of the Mong people; solo performances of traditional musical instruments; panpipe dance; love songs; performance of traditional costumes... performed by mass art troupes from districts and cities in the province.

The highlight of the Program is the Mong flute performances, contributing to preserving and promoting the value of the National Intangible Cultural Heritage of Bac Kan province.


The sound of the panpipes combined with the graceful dances of the Mong girls creates a unique cultural space.
