The Veterans Association and the Central Inspection Commission's organizations offered flowers and incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs at the Monument to Heroic Martyrs on Bac Son Street (Hanoi).

In a solemn atmosphere, the Veterans Association and the Central Inspection Commission's organizations respectfully laid wreaths and burned incense to commemorate and pay tribute to the heroes and martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the Fatherland; expressing their remembrance of the nation's outstanding sons who did not spare their blood and bones, bravely fought and sacrificed for the cause of national liberation, for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, for a prosperous and happy life for the people.

The memorial ceremony is also an occasion to commemorate the noble image of the "Uncle Ho's soldiers"; to encourage the Veterans and the Central Inspection Commission's organizations to continue promoting the revolutionary tradition and soldier's qualities, and to strive to fulfill their assigned tasks.
