Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Luan and members of the inspection delegation burned incense at the Monument to honor the heroic martyrs of Phu Thuan commune.

The delegation inspected 2 steles of heroic martyrs, 2 houses under the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses (including 1 Khmer household) in Phu Thuan commune and Cai Doi Vam town. Through the inspection, the steles of heroic martyrs have been basically restored and well maintained, showing gratitude and the spirit of "remembering the source of water when drinking" to the generation of ancestors who heroically sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the nation. 2 houses to support the people are in the process of completion, with the joint efforts of the locality, benefactors and contributions from families, the houses basically meet the set criteria and the wishes of the people.

The delegation inspected the current status of the Monument to the heroic martyrs of Cai Doi Vam town.

According to information from the People's Committee of Phu Tan district, the district currently has the Temple of President Ho Chi Minh (in Tan Hung Tay commune); the Martyrs' Steles in Tan Hung Tay commune, Phu Thuan commune; Tan Hai commune, Cai Doi Vam town and the Memorial Site of People's Armed Forces Hero Nguyen Viet Khai in good condition, a solemn place to educate traditions, expressing the deep gratitude of today's generation to their ancestors.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Luan informed: “In addition to taking care of the lives of policy beneficiaries and meritorious people, the government and people in the province also pay special attention to the care and maintenance of historical relics and works honoring martyrs, especially on the eve of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025). That not only shows gratitude to the heroic martyrs who fell for national independence and national reunification, but also contributes to warming the hearts of the martyrs' relatives and the expectations of the people.

The inspection team inspected the house to support Mr. Truong Van Duc's family, an ethnic minority household, Hamlet 5, Cai Doi Vam town.

Regarding the Project to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, up to now, Phu Tan district has started construction on 138/249 houses (97/138 houses have been completed). The district strives to complete the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in the area by the end of July this year, with a budget requirement of 13 billion 260 million VND.

Ms. Ho Thi Lieu, Hamlet 5, Cai Doi Vam town, was excited to receive support for a new house.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee noted that local authorities need to pay special attention to and inspect the progress and quality of housing construction and hygienic toilets for households according to the Project to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses.
