Binh Dinh organizes a series of special cultural and tourism events on the occasion of April 30 and May 1 holidays

On April 29, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Dinh issued a press release on cultural, sports and tourism activities of the province to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the complete liberation of the South and national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and the 139th anniversary of International Labor Day (May 1, 1886 - May 1, 2025).

Accordingly, from tomorrow (April 30) to May 4, Binh Dinh province will organize many unique cultural, sports and tourism activities, creating an exciting atmosphere among the people and attracting a large number of tourists.

Specifically:

Firstly , the 2nd Binh Dinh Culinary Culture Festival in 2025 will open at 8:00 p.m. on May 1 at Nguyen Tat Thanh Square, Quy Nhon City, with the participation of singers, artists, units, and forces from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City such as: People's Artist Ta Minh Tam, Phuong Anh, Quoc Vuong, Thanh Le, Dinh Trang, Minh Hai... along with professional and amateur artists and dancers.

The festival gathered 55 booths, including culinary and OCOP booths of units in the province; booths promoting and promoting tourism in Binh Dinh province; many international dishes from Thailand, Korea, Japan; cuisine of 8 provinces (Gia Lai, Nghe An, Soc Trang, Da Nang, Dak Lak, Ben Tre, Ho Chi Minh City, Thanh Hoa) and 23 restaurants and hotels in the province participating.

Culinary, artistic and entertainment activities promise to liven up the festival atmosphere, serving locals and tourists.

Second , the art program to celebrate 50 years of Vietnamese literature and art after the country's reunification will take place at 7:30 p.m. on May 4 at the Binh Dinh Provincial Convention Center, with famous musical works associated with historical periods, the performance "Tay Son's heroic spirit" combining a male choir and traditional martial arts performances.

The special highlight of the program is the restoration of 4 typical excerpts of Tuong and Bai Choi opera, staged by the Provincial Traditional Arts Theater, recreating the rich cultural identity of Binh Dinh.

Third , tourism promotion activities include the "Cultural Journey to the Land of Martial Arts" tourist train experience held from May 1 to 2.

Free program for tourists with two trips in the morning and afternoon every day. This is a free tourist train experience with outstanding services such as: enjoying the culinary quintessence of the land of Nau, exploring the ancient Twin Towers and the famous Luat Le Bridge, touching the ancient soul at Quy Nhon Station and Dieu Tri Station, watching traditional art performances, visiting the peaceful scenery along the railway.

Binh Dinh tourism program : Units under Binh Dinh Tourism Association will innovate and offer preferential programs from 5 - 20% for customers to choose for a more meaningful trip when coming to "Quy Nhon - Binh Dinh sea paradise", such as:

Quy Nhon – Back to the sea of memories (3 days 2 nights); Binh Dinh – Land of martial arts and literature (3 days 2 nights); Quy Nhon – Island paradise (3 days 2 nights); Binh Dinh – Land of martial arts and literature and Phu Yen – Land of yellow flowers on green grass (3 days 2 nights).

Fourth , sports activities are held from April 30 to May 4 in Quy Nhon City, including:

Binh Dinh Province Open Men's and Women's Beach Volleyball Tournament; Binh Dinh Martial Arts Night; Binh Dinh Province Open Badminton Club Tournament.

Fifth , response activities include:

Photo exhibition, exhibition to promote Binh Dinh tourism products; "Safe Trail 2025" race with the participation of about 1,200 athletes.
