According to Director of the Department of Tourism Tran Thi Hoai Tram, the program "Hue - Capital of Cuisine" promises to create a unique, special and attractive culinary cultural space, one of the highlights in the series of cultural activities - festivals at the National Tourism Year and Hue Festival 2025 during the April 30 - May 1 holiday. This event aims to affirm the brand value of "Hue - Capital of Cuisine" and hopes to gradually create an annual activity in the ancient capital of Hue, bringing local people and domestic and foreign tourists the opportunity to experience and explore the diverse and famous culinary culture of the poetic land of Hue.

According to the leader of the Department of Tourism, in order for the brand "Hue - Capital of Cuisine" to spread more and more widely, in the coming time, the tourism industry in coordination with relevant units needs to synchronously implement many solutions. In particular, in the planning and strategy for tourism development of the city, it is necessary to elevate cuisine into a type of tourism as destinations around the world are doing; form a museum or information interpretation center about Hue cuisine combined with the experience and enjoyment of Hue cuisine...
