Notably, the Standing Committee of Nam Dinh Provincial Party Committee promptly issued programs and plans to seriously, resolutely and effectively implement the Central's directives, resolutions and conclusions, especially the Plan to implement the Notice of Conclusion of General Secretary To Lam during his visit and working session with the Executive Committee of Nam Dinh Provincial Party Committee; Action Program to implement Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation.

At the same time, establish and perfect the Provincial Steering Committees to lead and direct the timely implementation of political tasks, especially the summary of implementation. Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW; developing science, technology, innovation and digital transformation; implementing the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in the province.

The province has also completed the arrangement and streamlining of the organizational apparatus and the arrangement and assignment of cadres with a serious, urgent, synchronous, drastic spirit, in a scientific, public and transparent manner in accordance with the direction of the Central Government, ensuring the set progress, creating high consensus among Party committees, authorities at all levels, cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees and workers.

After the reorganization, the agencies and units have urgently deployed their tasks according to the new organizational model and operating methods; reviewed, developed, revised, supplemented, and fully issued regulations on functions, tasks, working regulations, and issues related to the management and operation of the unit.

At the same time, arrange and assign appropriate staff, promote professional capacity and operate stably from March 1, 2025, promptly carry out political tasks, without work interruption, without affecting the normal activities of society and people.

The work of building and rectifying the Party and the political system continues to be promoted. In particular, the work of preparing and organizing Party congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Party Congress is directed systematically and proactively; ensuring compliance with the requirements of the plan and progress set out; at the same time, directing the temporary suspension of organizing Party congresses at the commune and district levels until there are specific instructions and guidance from the Central Committee.

The organization of research, dissemination and dissemination of the Party's directive documents was serious, timely and effective. The work of preventing and combating corruption, waste and negativity was carried out vigorously; the work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation achieved many positive results.

The quality of all aspects of mass mobilization work, activities of the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations continued to be improved, promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc, especially solidarity between religions and non-religious people in implementing the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, and local socio-economic development.

According to comrade Tran Anh Dung, Permanent Vice Chairman of Nam Dinh Provincial People's Committee: In socio-economic development, Nam Dinh has promptly and fully implemented programs and plans to carry out socio-economic development tasks in accordance with the direction of the Central Government, the Government, the Prime Minister, the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, especially the conclusions and resolutions of the Central Government on growth targets and breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and digital transformation.

Notably, the Provincial People's Council held 3 sessions to resolve important and urgent matters; issued 13 resolutions within its authority, in accordance with the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, closely following the practical situation and promptly meeting the province's socio-economic development requirements.

The direction and administration of the Provincial People's Committee and the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee are resolute, proactive, flexible, creative and effective in accordance with working regulations, legal regulations and instructions from superiors; ensuring timely completion and quality of assigned tasks.

The results achieved are: Gross Domestic Product (GDP) increased by 11.86%, ranking first in the Red River Delta and third in the country; Industrial Production Index (IIP) increased by 23.25%; export turnover of goods reached 939 million USD, up 56.2%; State budget revenue in the area reached 3,412 billion VND, up 57% over the same period; disbursement of public investment capital was in the leading group in the country.

Administrative reform, e-government construction, digital transformation, Project 06 continue to receive attention and implementation; the digitalization of civil status has been completed in accordance with the direction of the Prime Minister.

The education and training sector continues to maintain high achievements; cultural and artistic activities, spring festivals are abundant, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere for the people; social security is given more attention, and the material and spiritual life of the people is improved.

Local defense and military work and the construction of solid defense zones were strengthened; political security, order, social safety, and maritime border security and sovereignty were maintained.

Comrade Secretary of Nam Dinh Provincial Party Committee Dang Khanh Toan said that the results achieved by the province in the first quarter of 2025 demonstrated the spirit of overcoming difficulties, the efforts, consensus, and high determination of the Standing Committee, the Standing Committee, the Provincial Party Executive Committee, and the entire political system, the business community, and all classes of people in Nam Dinh province; are the foundation and driving force for the province to break through and accelerate to the finish line in implementing the goals set out in the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress and the 5-year Socio-Economic Development Plan for 2021-2025.
