On April 28, Van Lang district organized working delegations to visit, present gifts, and encourage veterans who directly participated in the Ho Chi Minh campaign living in the district on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

During the program, the district delegations visited and presented gifts to 30 families of veterans who directly participated in the Ho Chi Minh campaign, the resistance war against the US to save the country. At the veterans' families, representatives of the delegations presented each family with a gift worth 1.5 million VND and kindly asked about the health, encouraged the veterans, expressed gratitude and appreciation for the great contributions of comrades to the cause of liberation, national reunification, construction and protection of the Fatherland.

At the same time, I hope that you will continue to promote the revolutionary spirit, always strive to improve your life, and be a shining example for future generations to follow. This is an activity demonstrating the tradition of "When drinking water, remember its source", aiming to widely propagate and educate today's generations about the great historical value and significance of the resistance war against the US to save the country, liberate the South, and unify the country.
