- On the morning of April 29, the Department of Education and Training organized a training course on professional skills in emulation and rewards in the education sector in 2025 for 160 delegates who are leaders and officers in charge of emulation and rewards of 40 public service units under the Department.

Here, delegates were introduced and given specific instructions on new regulations on emulation and commendation work according to the 2022 Law on Emulation and Commendation; implementing the contents of Decree No. 98/2023/ND-CP dated December 31, 2023 of the Government detailing the implementation of a number of articles of the Law on Emulation and Commendation; Circular No. 01/2024/TT-BNV dated February 24, 2024 of the Ministry of Home Affairs guiding on documents, processes, procedures for considering and awarding emulation titles and forms of commendation.

Within the framework of the program, delegates were informed and guided on the consideration and awarding of the titles of "People's Teacher" and "Excellent Teacher" according to Decree No. 35/2024/ND-CP dated April 2, 2024 of the Government; guided on how to build initiatives, how to evaluate the effectiveness of applying initiatives as a basis for considering emulation and rewards, to ensure that the review and approval process is objective, fair and substantive.

In addition to theoretical content, the training course devotes adequate time to exchanging, discussing, and resolving difficulties and problems arising from the practical implementation of emulation and reward work at the grassroots level.

Through the training course, the leadership team and officers in charge of emulation and rewards of schools are updated and improve their professional qualifications, meeting the increasingly high requirements in emulation and rewards work of the education sector, thereby contributing to building a vibrant and substantive patriotic emulation movement, creating a driving force to promote innovation and improve the quality of education in the whole sector in the coming time.
