Within the framework of the program, 60 students of Hanoi Private Secondary School for Deaf and Mute Children were examined by doctors of Hanoi Rehabilitation Hospital for height, teeth and jaws, eyes, endoscopy, and disability classification. From there, the doctors discovered diseases and future treatment directions for disabled students to improve and restore their skills, communication, memory, and thinking better.

Sharing about this program, Chairman of the Hanoi Red Cross Society Le Tu Luc said that this is one of the meaningful activities organized by the Society in response to the Humanitarian Month 2025, as well as to care for, protect and improve the health of people with disabilities. The screening and diagnosis activities to determine the health status of deaf and mute children aim to support and create equal development opportunities for vulnerable groups in the community, contributing to building a compassionate community. Based on the screening results, the City Red Cross Society will develop programs suitable for each individual's physical condition, helping children to play and study depending on the level and characteristics of their disabilities, and develop both physically and mentally.

The school principal, Mr. Ta Ngoc Anh - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Hanoi Red Cross Movement Committee, shared that this free health screening program once again affirms the Hanoi Red Cross's concern for the school's disabled and disadvantaged students. This activity also contributes to creating equal development opportunities for disabled children - a vulnerable group in the community, contributing to building a compassionate community.
