Handing over "Red Scarf" house to Thang Binh students

(QNO) - On the morning of April 29, Thang Binh District Youth Union coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district to organize the acceptance and handover of the "Red Scarf" house project.

The house was handed over to the family of Le Thi Phuong Uyen (6th grade student, Hoang Hoa Tham Secondary School, Binh Lanh commune).

The house was built on an area of ​​54m2 , with a corrugated iron roof, ceiling, and tiled floor, with a total cost of 120 million VND. Of which, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thang Binh district supported 60 million VND from the Fund for the Poor; Thang Binh District Youth Union supported more than 33 million VND.

Uyen's family is in very difficult circumstances. The three sisters live with their elderly grandparents and their mother works as a factory worker far away.
