On January 19, at the multifunctional complex "Hanoi-Moscow" (Incentra) in Moscow, the Embassy of Vietnam and the Union of Vietnamese Organizations in the Russian Federation organized the program "Spring Homeland - Tet At Ty 2025", aiming to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and the Russian Federation (January 30, 1950 - January 30, 2025).
The event was attended by more than 500 guests, including representatives of Vietnamese associations, a large number of overseas Vietnamese in Moscow and other cities, students studying at Russian universities, and all diplomatic missions and agencies affiliated with the Embassy.
A cultural program imbued with national identity has been carefully prepared, introducing traditional Vietnamese games such as o an quan, jumping on bamboo poles, wrapping banh chung; recreating the familiar old kitchen corner in the memories of many Vietnamese living abroad...
Speaking at the program, Vietnamese Ambassador to the Russian Federation Dang Minh Khoi sent his warmest feelings and warmest greetings to the representatives of overseas Vietnamese attending the program and all the children of the homeland of Vietnam living, working and studying across Russia.
The Ambassador reviewed the country's development achievements and important events in Vietnam-Russia relations in 2024, including the 30th anniversary of the Treaty on the Fundamental Principles of Vietnam-Russia Friendship Relations, phone calls, high-level visits with many signed agreements.
Ambassador Dang Minh Khoi emphasized that the Vietnamese community celebrates the Lunar New Year of At Ty, which takes place before the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries (January 30, 1950 - January 30, 2025). The year 2025 will also witness many important events of the country such as the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Party, the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday, the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification, etc.
During the period of national transformation and entering a new era, Ambassador Dang Minh Khoi called on overseas Vietnamese in the Russian Federation to always turn towards the Fatherland, continue to join hands and contribute to the country's development, foster the friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and the Russian Federation, and build a strong community.

On behalf of the Union of Vietnamese Organizations in the Russian Federation, Chairman Do Xuan Hoang thanked the attention of the Party, State and representative agencies for supporting and creating conditions for the community to overcome difficulties and achieve successes in recent times.
In the exciting and bustling atmosphere welcoming the Spring of At Ty 2025, many overseas Vietnamese shared their deep trust and expectations in the future development of the country, wishing to actively participate in contributing to realizing the aspiration for national development in the new era - the era of national development.

The program "Spring Homeland - Tet At Ty 2025" has connected the Vietnamese community in the Russian Federation, bringing a corner of the homeland so that children living, working and studying in Russia who have not had the opportunity to return home to celebrate Tet can still feel happy and feel the warm, family atmosphere of the traditional Tet in the Motherland.
