How is the Navy's combat readiness work carried out during the Lunar New Year, Colonel?
To organize the Lunar New Year 2025 to ensure combat readiness high, joyful, healthy, safe, economical, we have thoroughly grasped and strictly implemented the directives and regulations of all levels on combat readiness and organizing the Lunar New Year 2025 to 100% of officers and soldiers of the entire Army. In particular, focusing on some key contents:
Firstly , organize propaganda and education for officers and soldiers to clearly understand the situation, the plots and tricks of hostile forces, heighten vigilance, be ready to fight, and promptly and effectively handle situations that arise. At the same time, the Service has launched a high-point emulation campaign to celebrate the Party, celebrate the Spring, and achieve achievements to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam, in conjunction with a political activity on strengthening discipline management, building a regular order, creating a vibrant emulation atmosphere, and being determined to successfully carry out tasks right from the first day and month of 2025.

Second , the Service has directed the review, adjustment, supplementation and organization of practice of combat readiness plans; maintaining the actual combat readiness of forces and means, especially targets in key sea areas.
Third , along with ensuring the soldiers' lives in accordance with standards and regimes, we focus on directing agencies and units to organize well the Spring Festival activities for soldiers during Tet (with 100% of units from company, ship, station level and above having plans to organize fun activities for soldiers during Tet holidays); Actively coordinate with local Party committees and authorities to organize cultural, artistic and sports exchange activities suitable to local customs and military culture.
How is the spirit and determination of each officer and soldier assigned to be on duty during Tet expressed?
Navy officers and soldiers are always deeply aware of their role and responsibility in the cause of protecting the Fatherland at sea - an extremely important strategic direction of the country.
Therefore, 100% of Navy officers and soldiers on duty during Tet in sea and island areas are assured in their work, have a good understanding of their tasks, always maintain a high level of vigilance, are ready to fight, are determined to stay at sea, stay at ships, stay at islands, and be ready to effectively handle all situations, maintain sovereignty and security at sea, so that the country can welcome a peaceful and happy Spring.
How is the care for the lives of officers and soldiers, especially officers and soldiers in coastal and island areas, carried out?
Along with fully implementing the policies and standards of the Ministry of National Defense, we have focused on ensuring more policies and regulations for forces directly on duty during Tet, forces on remote islands, platforms, stations, combat units, policy beneficiaries, and families in difficult circumstances.
Specifically, the Army has allocated a Tet support fund for all forces in the Army with a total amount of over 15 billion VND; allocated a gratitude fund with an amount of over 750 million VND to visit and give gifts to policy beneficiaries and people with revolutionary contributions.
In particular, since the beginning of January 2025, despite unfavorable weather at sea, the Party Committee and the High Command of the Army have directed agencies and units to do a good job of preparing for Tet for soldiers, especially for units stationed on remote islands, platforms, radar stations, and ships on duty in key sea areas.
Up to now, the Navy has organized 12 ships carrying more than 300 tons of goods, necessities, and Tet gifts from the Party, the State, the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense, central and local departments, ministries, and businesses, supplying 100% of the islands, platforms, radar stations, and ships on duty at sea.

Along with the above trains, there were more than 300 reporters from central, military and local news agencies and newspapers to work, report and encourage cadres, soldiers and people.
Colonel, do you have any message for the military and civilians of the whole country in general and the military and civilians living on the seas and islands in particular?
I always believe and hope that the Navy officers and soldiers who are on duty and ready to fight and perform their duties throughout the seas and islands of the Fatherland will unite, overcome difficulties, raise vigilance, promptly detect and effectively handle situations, maintain sovereignty, political security, and a peaceful and stable environment in the seas and islands, contributing to the people of the whole country having a joyful, warm and happy Tet, so that our whole nation can enter a new Spring, a Spring full of faith, hope, strength and prosperity.
Wishing you, your families and the people on the seas and islands of the Fatherland a new year filled with good health, happiness and success.
On the occasion of the New Year, please allow me, on behalf of the officers and soldiers of the Navy, to express my deep gratitude to the Party, State, Central Military Commission, Ministry of National Defense, local Party committees and authorities, compatriots and soldiers nationwide for always paying attention, leading, directing and creating favorable conditions for the Vietnam People's Navy to successfully complete all assigned tasks.
