Vietnam AI Olympic Team and other teams around the world
This year, IOAI focuses on Natural Language Processing (NLP), Machine Learning, and Computer Vision. The competition is held in a face-to-face format with two exams: Science (8 hours) and Computer Vision Practice (4 hours). The first IOAI Olympiad on Artificial Intelligence (IOAI) will be held in Burgas, Bulgaria from August 9 to 15, 2024, attracting about 40 teams from more than 30 countries and regions.
The International Olympiad on Artificial Intelligence (IOAI) is the first to be held globally, similar to the Olympic competitions for traditional subjects such as Mathematics (IMO), Physics (IPhO), Chemistry (IChO), Informatics (IOI), Biology (IBO). This shows the fundamental importance of Artificial Intelligence. AI has gradually separated from the scope of Computer Science to become a separate, interdisciplinary field.
