Responding to a reporter's question about the recent ruling of the Seoul Court of Appeals, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Pham Thu Hang said:
Vietnam welcomes the recent ruling of the Seoul Court of Appeals, a ruling that reflects historical truth and contributes to realizing the spirit of “putting the past behind and looking toward the future”.
With this viewpoint, Vietnam wishes to work with Korea to further develop the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the two countries; take practical actions to overcome the consequences of war, contributing to consolidating and enhancing the friendship and good cooperative relations between the two countries and peoples.
