In the atmosphere of welcoming the New Year, on January 18, in the capital Ankara, the Vietnamese Embassy in Türkiye solemnly organized the program Xuan Que Huong 2025 - celebrating the Spring of At Ty.
The program was attended by representatives of Vietnamese expatriates living and working in Türkiye, international students, international friends, and all staff and family members of the Embassy.

Speaking at the program, Ambassador Do Son Hai sent his regards and New Year wishes to all the community and families living and working in Türkiye.
The Ambassador also informed the people about some outstanding achievements in socio-economic and foreign affairs of the country, the positive results of the Vietnam-Türkiye relationship as well as the contributions of the Embassy in the past year.

Since Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh's official visit to Türkiye in November 2023, bilateral cooperation has been promoted in many areas, especially in trade and economy. In the first 10 months of 2024, the total trade turnover between the two countries reached more than 2.7 billion USD, an increase of 9.1% over the same period in 2023; it is expected to exceed 3 billion USD for the whole year. Cooperation between localities, ministries and branches of the two sides has also achieved many impressive results.
Appreciating the support and mutual affection of the community over the past year, as well as the efforts to build a good image of Vietnamese people in Turkey in the eyes of local friends, the Ambassador affirmed that the Embassy always cares and creates favorable conditions to support all Vietnamese people.

Before the ceremony, Ambassador Do Son Hai met with students studying in Türkiye, discussed and learned about their lives and living conditions, and encouraged them to study well, strictly follow the regulations of the host country, and promote the beauty of Vietnamese culture and people.
The ceremony took place in a joyful and warm atmosphere. Overseas Vietnamese and Turkish friends happily interacted and enjoyed traditional dishes imbued with the national identity of the traditional Vietnamese New Year such as banh chung, gio, nem, banh mi with wine sauce, chicken, squid rolls, etc.
New Year songs were sung, families exchanged best wishes, hopes and hopes that the new year would be successful and peaceful for the people of Vietnam and Turkey.
