Dai Long Production and Trading Joint Stock Company, Xich Tho Commune (Nho Quan) is one of the first units to produce burnt rice in Ninh Binh, a famous specialty dish of the province. Previously, burnt rice was produced using traditional technology, thus only meeting part of the actual demand of the market. In order to meet the increasing demand and make burnt rice a gift for every tourist when visiting and relaxing, in 2010, the Company researched and launched the burnt rice with shredded pork product, which is both a traditional product and brings high economic efficiency. With the investment in installing a modern machinery system and a closed-loop production process to ensure food hygiene and safety, in 2020, the Company had 2 products ranked 4-star OCOP, which are burnt rice with shredded pork and burnt rice with super medicine.
To further expand the brand, the Company has established a Marketing team to develop a business plan and approach domestic and foreign customers. At the same time, technology is applied to packaging, traceability, barcodes, and information transparency, helping consumers easily search for product information.
Currently, the Company has produced more than 40 products, the consumption market is not only domestic but also exported to Southeast Asian countries. Currently, the Company has expanded to more than 2,000 agents in and outside the province to supply rice crispy products to serve the market and distribute products to clean agricultural stores and supermarket systems.
The Company's products have won the Gold Medal and the Gold Cup for the title of safe quality food for community health. The Company currently provides regular jobs for nearly 50 local workers with a salary of 4-6 million VND/person/month.

Through e-commerce platforms, customers have come to Dai Long more with a variety of access channels such as Fanpage, Facebook, Zalo. In the coming time, the Company will continue to invest in expanding the production area by completing the construction of a 3-hectare factory in Xich Tho commune with a closed production process to strive to bring the products Com Chay Xua and Com Chay Ninh Binh Vang to the 5-star OCOP level.
Vu Gia Medicinal Herbs Company Limited, Gia Lam Commune (Nho Quan) is the management unit of Ninh Binh Golden Camellia Park, which collects and preserves the precious golden camellia gene source of Vietnam. Currently, the Company has collected and preserved 32 species, with a raw material area of 7 hectares. Up to now, there are 5 products that have met the provincial 4-star OCOP standard: 50-gram golden camellia tea, 20-gram Vu Gia golden camellia tea bag, Cuc Phuong golden camellia tea and 20-gram Vu Gia golden camellia tea, and Vu Gia ginseng.
In order to expand the consumer market, the Company has recently promoted the application of information technology, digital transformation in promotion, consumption, and bringing products to e-commerce platforms and social networks. Thanks to that, the Company's products are known to many customers, consumption is more convenient; reducing costs of renting premises, sales staff, etc. On average, the Company supplies the market with 150kg of products each month, creating regular jobs for 12 local workers.

Based on the digital platform, we can fully introduce the images, content, product stories, and production processes that the Company is applying to customers for easy access and learning. This helps customers feel more confident when using golden flower tea products, avoiding buying fake and counterfeit goods on the market. Currently, the total revenue on the Company's e-commerce platforms accounts for 40-50%.
The province currently has 209 OCOP products with 3 stars or higher. In order for the products to reach a large number of consumers, in addition to selling through traditional channels, the relevant departments have organized training courses on knowledge and skills to introduce and promote products on e-commerce platforms, and guided entities in creating videos and livestreaming on digital platforms. Thereby, helping companies, cooperatives, and entities to find and expand domestic and foreign product consumption markets, contributing to increasing revenue for entities, while creating jobs and increasing income for workers.
According to the leader of the Department of Agriculture and Environment: To help entities expand the market for product consumption, every year the Department coordinates with departments, branches, People's Committees of districts and cities to promote trade promotion, promote OCOP products in many forms, focusing on digital transformation to introduce, promote and consume products on social networking platforms. In addition, it also coordinates with related units to organize for entities to participate in fairs and exhibitions inside and outside the province to introduce products to a variety of customers in the fastest way.
It can be said that promoting product consumption on social networking platforms and e-commerce platforms has helped the province's OCOP products reach consumers nationwide faster. This is the foundation, creating sustainable steps for local OCOP products in the market. In particular, the subjects have proactively applied technology in the production and processing stages, as well as applied the QR Code traceability system so that consumers can use it with peace of mind. Digital transformation has helped the agricultural sector in general and the subjects in particular to promote more widely, increase sales, expand consumption channels, thereby bringing local products to the world market.
