On April 14, 2025, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism held the opening ceremony of training courses to improve the capacity of organizing cultural activities and folk games of ethnic groups in Dien Bien Dong and Tua Chua districts.

The training courses will take place from April 14 to April 25, 2025. There will be 4 courses held in the communes of Chieng So, Phi Nhu (Dien Bien Dong) and Muong Dun, Ta Phin (Tua Chua), each course will last 5 days with more than 40 students who are the core artists in the villages in the commune.

This is the content to implement cultural criteria in the National Target Program on New Rural Development in 2025 in the province. Trainees will be instructed on basic methods and skills in building cultural and artistic exchange programs, folk and traditional games to serve political tasks and community tourism in the locality; understand the process of establishing and operating art teams and clubs. Build performance programs according to themes to participate in competitions, festivals, and some models of organizing activities of grassroots cultural institutions.

The organization of the training course aims to create conditions for grassroots cultural and artistic cores to access, exchange, learn experiences, grasp methods and skills in organizing cultural and artistic activities to build cultural and artistic movements at the grassroots level, expand community tourism activities, develop village and hamlet art teams in many forms. At the same time, introduce some unique folk games of ethnic groups in the province, contributing to raising the level of cultural and sports enjoyment of all classes of people, meeting the needs of entertainment for people in building new rural areas.
