Attending the meeting were leaders of provincial departments and branches, leaders of Chau Thanh district and 150 voters of the district.

Informing voters about the expected agenda of the 9th session of the 15th National Assembly, National Assembly Deputy Huynh Thanh Phuong said that the session is expected to open on May 5 and close on June 28, divided into two phases: phase 1 from May 5-28 and phase 2 from June 11-28.

Regarding constitutional and legislative work at this session, the National Assembly will consider and decide on amendments and supplements to a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution; consider and pass 30 laws and 7 resolutions; give initial opinions on 6 draft laws; consider and decide on socio-economic issues, the State budget, supervision and other important issues.

National Assembly Deputy Huynh Thanh Phuong said that among the 30 draft laws considered by the National Assembly at this session, there are many draft laws related to the organization of the apparatus and government; preparations for the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2030 term. This is a session with a huge workload and high pressure.

The delegates also informed voters of Chau Thanh district about some contents of the Central Government's policies and orientations on the arrangement of administrative units (provincial and communal levels) in the coming time, including the merger of Tay Ninh and Long An provinces.

At the meeting with voters before and after the 8th session of the 15th National Assembly, the National Assembly deputies recorded 9 opinions of voters from Chau Thanh district with 14 recommendations, of which, some opinions were informed by the National Assembly deputies, and responded by local leaders and functional agencies; the remaining recommendations were recorded by the National Assembly deputies, compiled and transferred to competent functional agencies for response.

At this meeting with voters, National Assembly Deputy Huynh Thanh Phuong specifically informed voters of the results of the responses of the central and provincial functional agencies to voters of Chau Thanh district on the issue of birth registration for children born abroad and brought back to Vietnam to live; regulations prohibiting children under 18 years old from using electronic cigarettes; managing the use of firecrackers; maintaining cultivation and production in areas that have not been demarcated...

Voters of Chau Thanh district highly agreed with the contents that National Assembly Deputy Huynh Thanh Phuong informed at the conference and had no comments or recommendations.
