Meeting with voters before the 9th session of the 15th National Assembly in Go Dau

Voters of Ben Rong Hamlet (Thanh Duc Commune) petitioned about the lack of electricity for daily life at the meeting.

The meeting was held directly with nearly 200 voters, including representatives of departments, armed forces, and enterprises in Go Dau district; voters from Cam Giang, Thanh Duc, and Hiep Thanh communes; and members of unions and organizations.

At the meeting, National Assembly Deputy Tran Huu Hau informed voters of Go Dau district about the expected contents of the 9th Session; introduced a number of important draft laws that the National Assembly is expected to consider, approve and give opinions at the session.

Accordingly, the 9th session will be held in 2 phases, phase 1 from May 5-28; phase 2 from June 11-28. The National Assembly will consider and pass 30 laws and 7 resolutions; give opinions on 6 draft laws and consider and decide on many other important issues, serving the work of arranging and organizing the apparatus, developing the socio-economy, developing the country, especially the Project on arranging administrative units and organizing 2-level local governments.

At the meeting, voters recommended that the National Assembly consider and have regulations to tighten the management of the situation of dividing land into plots and selling them, while many people were tricked into buying "full residential land" (100% residential land) which was actually rice land; the situation of forcing people to buy insurance when borrowing money; the situation of the One-Stop Department of Go Dau district not returning the results of the application on time to the people; the situation of illegal exploitation and transportation of land; the situation of speeding, reckless driving, violating the law on traffic safety and order...

Voters suggested that the Ministry of National Defense should send young people with tattoos to join the military service, to avoid the situation of "tattooing" on the body to avoid military service; consider amending some regulations on the execution of sentences to suit the current situation...

In addition to the recommendations to the National Assembly Delegation, voters of Thanh Duc commune requested the Tay Ninh Electricity Department, Thanh Duc Commune People's Committee, Go Dau District People's Committee, and the Department of Agriculture and Environment to review, verify, and have specific solutions to the situation of enterprises exploiting rice fields, digging shrimp ponds, and building eco-tourism areas; the situation of people lacking electricity for more than 30 years... affecting people's lives.

Voters' opinions at the meeting were recorded and responded to by representatives of the relevant agencies; at the same time, there were appropriate solutions to handle and resolve them according to authority and legal regulations.

National Assembly Deputy Tran Huu Hau spoke to acknowledge and respond to voters' recommendations.

According to National Assembly Deputy Tran Huu Hau, before the 8th session, the National Assembly Delegation received 4 petitions from voters, of which 1/4 petitions were informed, clarified, and not recorded by the National Assembly Deputies; 3 petitions were recorded (including 1 petition under local authority, 2 petitions under central authority).

After the 8th session, the delegation received 3 petitions, of which 2 petitions were informed, clarified and not recorded by the National Assembly Deputies; 1 petition was recorded as belonging to the Central authority. Up to now, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation has not received any response from the Ministry or branch regarding this petition. The Provincial National Assembly Delegation will continue to urge and soon inform the voters of the content of the response.
