Dr. Le Hoang Du, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training, Head of the Jury of the contest, awarded certificates of excellent primary school teachers in Ca Mau province, school year 2024-2025 to teachers.
Accordingly, the Organizing Committee of the Contest recognized 214/227 teachers who achieved the title. The Director of the Department of Education and Training (DoET) awarded certificates of merit to 39 teachers with outstanding achievements at the contest. The closing ceremony took place on the afternoon of April 14, at Ho Thi Ky High School (Ca Mau City).
This year's Primary School Excellent Teacher Competition has 227 candidates registered from the Department of Education and Training of Dam Doi District (40 teachers), the Department of Education and Training of Tran Van Thoi District (30 teachers), the Department of Education and Training of Cai Nuoc District (15 teachers), the Department of Education and Training of Thoi Binh District (34 teachers), the Department of Education and Training of Nam Can District (20 teachers), the Department of Education and Training of Phu Tan District (12 teachers), the Department of Education and Training of Ca Mau City (26 teachers), the Department of Education and Training of Ngoc Hien District (25 teachers), the Department of Education and Training of U Minh District (25 teachers).
Teachers must pass two exams: the method exam and the teaching/educational activity exam.
Mr. Duong Hong Xuan, Head of the Preschool Department, presented certificates of merit from the Director of the Department of Education and Training to 39 teachers with outstanding achievements at the competition.
Dr. Le Hoang Du, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training, Head of the contest's jury, said: "Participating in the contest, many teachers have carefully researched and invested in both the content and form of their report on measures; the content of the measures is of high professional quality, novel, creative and suitable for the current situation and reality at the school where they are working; suitable for students by grade level, meeting the requirements of the 2018 General Education Program innovation. 100% of teachers apply information technology to present measures, data, clear images, specific evidence with high persuasiveness. Most teachers use teaching equipment, means, and tools appropriately; many teachers know how to exploit and use teaching software, AI technology to design lessons, games, animated pictures, etc. effectively.
In addition, most teachers invest in and research the content, curriculum, and characteristics of each subject/educational activity, have a firm grasp of the objectives of the curriculum and lessons, and know how to choose appropriate teaching methods, techniques, equipment, and tools to prepare a good lesson plan. From there, they design and organize teaching activities that are appropriate to the content of each activity to achieve the goals that need to be conveyed.

Through the contest, teachers continue to research and master the 2018 General Education Program; innovate student assessment; self-study to improve professional skills; proficiently use information technology, including AI applications, to support teaching; innovate teaching methods in a flexible and modern way to meet the needs of student education in the direction of developing capacity and qualities; together with the school, build a progressive educational environment, towards a "happy school".
