The Light Up Faith Club was established in 2013 with 10 members, and now has 50 members. Mr. Nguyen Khac Xuan, Chairman of the Club, said: With the desire to help those in difficult circumstances and light up faith in life, since its establishment, the Club has regularly followed the programs and tasks launched by the Provincial Red Cross Association to create creative and effective ways of working and operating models.

Under the guidance of the Provincial Red Cross Association, the Light Up Faith Club has coordinated with local Party committees and authorities to contribute to the effective implementation of social security work in the province. Specifically, from 2013 to present, the Club has attracted more and more benefactors to participate, creating a widespread influence in the community with a total value of activities of more than 5 billion VND and dozens of tons of goods, food and relief food. Thereby, many difficult circumstances have been promptly encouraged and motivated to improve their lives.

Typically, in implementing the Campaign "Each organization, each individual is associated with a humanitarian address", since its establishment, the Club has organized and mobilized members, businesses, and philanthropists inside and outside the province to join hands to support, coordinate support, sponsor funds, resources, and implement 23 housing projects for extremely disadvantaged households, well projects, classrooms for schools... with a total value of over 1.2 billion VND.

Along with that, with the spirit of mutual love, the Club also carries out humanitarian relief activities well. From 2022 to now, the Club has called for the cooperation of the community and philanthropists to provide emergency support for cases in especially difficult circumstances with a total value of nearly 700 million VND.

Mr. Ly Van Bao, Hoang Van Thu ward, Lang Son city said: My wife and I are both blind and have two small children, so life is very difficult. In 2024, the Light Up Faith Club supported the family with 6 million VND and many other gifts. This is a very meaningful gift, helping the family have more conditions and motivation to improve in life.

In particular, in 2024, before the impact of storm No. 3, the Club mobilized all resources to participate in flood relief in the province with necessities and cash worth more than 230 million VND...

To achieve the above results, whenever there is a case in need of help, the Club arranges to go directly to survey the situation and prioritize cases with especially difficult circumstances. In the process of calling for support from the community, the Club not only coordinates with organizations and local authorities, but each member of the Club also directly supports and takes advantage of personal relationships, using social networks to call for everyone's support. Notably, in order to have a source of funds to support humanitarian addresses regularly, in addition to launching the "Love Vegetarian Vermicelli" activity (selling vegetarian vermicelli on the 1st and 15th of the lunar month every month) and making products to sell to raise funds (peanut candy, cereal powder, etc.), since 2018, the Club has also coordinated to set up 2 charity fund boxes in the city. From 2023 to now, the Club has raised nearly 100 million VND with the above method.

In recognition of these achievements, the Club has been awarded certificates of merit and certificates of merit by various levels and sectors. Most recently, in early 2025, the Club was honored to receive a certificate of merit from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society for its outstanding achievements in the association's work and the Red Cross movement for two consecutive years 2023 - 2024.
