Speaking at the Opening Ceremony of the 2025 Thai Nguyen Provincial Tourism Season, Comrade Nguyen Thanh Binh, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial Tourism Development Steering Committee emphasized the particularly important strategic position of Thai Nguyen province, as the gateway and exchange center between the midland and mountainous regions of the North and the Northern Delta; at the same time, it is a land rich in tourism potential in addition to its industrial development strengths. Currently, Thai Nguyen province is focusing on developing high-quality tourism and resort products to effectively exploit the Nui Coc Lake Tourist Area and the eastern slope of Tam Dao, with the highlight being the first international 6-star resort in the North, which is being actively implemented by Flamingo Group; The two projects of Glory Golf Course and Tan Thai Golf Course will be put into operation in 2025. Thai Nguyen province currently has over 1,000 inventoried relics, including 01 relic ranked at the special national level with 13 relic sites; 59 relics ranked at the national level; 242 relics ranked at the provincial level; nearly 300 craft villages and over 300 OCOP products from 3 to 5 stars; 51/54 ethnic groups with cultural heritage values ​​preserved, passed down by generations of people and always present in the material and spiritual life of the people; 23 heritages included in the List of National Intangible Cultural Heritage.

Thai Nguyen is also famous for its green mountains and blue waters, endowed by nature and history with many unique landscapes and historical and cultural relics. Notable ones include: Dinh Hoa National Special Relic Site, Ly Nam De Relic Site, National Historical Relic Site of the Memorial Site of the 915th Company and 91st Bac Thai Team, which are red addresses of great significance in the work of educating revolutionary traditions; Than Sa Archaeological Relic Site, Museum of Vietnamese Ethnic Cultures, Thai Hai Ethnic Ecological Stilt House Village Conservation Area, which are recognized by the World Tourism Organization as one of the 32 "Best Tourist Villages in the World" and one of two national 5-star OCOP tourism products. At the program, delegates performed the official button-pressing ceremony to open the 2025 Thai Nguyen Provincial Tourism Season. On this occasion, the Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee decided to recognize two provincial-level tourist destinations: Hao Huc Village, Phuc Tan Commune, Pho Yen City and Suoi Coc Homestay, Phuc Triu Commune, Thai Nguyen City.
