The delegation inspected the actual situation at Cot Moc village, Tan Xuan commune, Van Ho district and along the Tan Xuan-Chieng Son-Long Sap border line in Van Ho and Moc Chau town. At the same time, the delegation also surveyed the Chieng Khuong-Muong Cai-Muong Lan, Song Ma, Sop Cop routes, grasping the actual situation of the border, border markers, drug crime activities, illegal immigration and potential factors causing insecurity and disorder in the border area.

At the working sessions with the commune police force, the delegation heard reports on the work of ensuring security and order at the grassroots level, especially the difficulties in performing tasks in complex border areas.

The working group also re-evaluated the route and network of illegal transportation of more than 444,300 synthetic drug pills that were destroyed at the end of 2024 in the waterway area between landmarks 204 and 205. The border routes, trails, small-scale trade routes and the area of landmark 198, where criminals often take advantage of their activities, were also inspected.

Major General Dang Trong Cuong praised the efforts of the commune police force in maintaining security and order and protecting the border. He requested that they continue to overcome difficulties, grasp the situation in the area, especially at key routes, and closely coordinate with professional units to promptly detect and prevent crimes, especially drugs and illegal immigration.
