Many people and tourists watch the 3D Mapping film "The Story of Da Nang"

NDO - Tonight (April 29), a large number of people and tourists gathered on Bach Dang Street - in front of Da Nang Museum to enjoy 3D Mapping films with the theme "The Story of Da Nang". This is an extremely meaningful event organized for the first time by the People's Committee of Da Nang City, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

The 3D Mapping film “The Story of Da Nang” uses specialized equipment to project light directly onto the surface of the Da Nang Museum building at 42 Bach Dang, combined with sound to create a 3D Mapping effect.

This is the first time this technology has been shown outdoors in Da Nang city, with a combination of sound-light-vivid visual effects, to recreate the story of history-culture-aspiration for continuous development of Da Nang city.

The film depicts folk tales, legends and some typical historical events associated with the birth, development and rise to new heights of the city, while also depicting the soul and spirit of Da Nang people.

Along with the stories told, the film also has images and scenes with profound meanings for the audience to discover after watching, such as the Hoang Sa Islands scene, the legend of Lord Nguyen Hoang, the oath to die for the Fatherland, the battle of Hai Van Pass...

This is the first complete outdoor 3D Mapping film in Vietnam, different from 3D Mapping scenes at other programs and events.

This is also the first time in Southeast Asia that the most advanced PT-RQ 50K projection system, equivalent to the projection system at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic opening ceremony and the Tokyo Night & Light program in 2024, has been put into use.

“The Story of Da Nang” consists of 3 consecutive parts, introducing the history of formation and development of Da Nang city throughout historical periods.
