In the joyful and excited atmosphere of the whole country celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and International Labor Day May 1, on the evening of April 29, at the Quan Stadium area, the People's Committee of Sa Pa town, Lao Cai province held the opening ceremony of the 2025 Summer Festival with the theme "Sa Pa - Land of Love."

This is one of the annual festivals that has become a unique cultural and tourism product with its own identity and brand of Sa Pa town, Lao Cai province.

The summer festival opened with a special art program “Sa Pa - Land of Love” with performances by actors from Lao Cai Province's Ethnic Art Troupe, local artisans...

The singing, dancing and performing performances by artists and artisans recreated the vivid and unique beauty of Sa Pa's people and landscape; strongly expressing the message "Sa Pa - A place where cultural colors, magical nature and warm hearts converge."

At the same time, it brings local people and tourists many emotions and beautiful impressions.

At the opening ceremony, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Sa Pa town Do Van Tan emphasized that the Sa Pa Summer Festival 2025 is a cultural - tourism event of special significance, not only marking the beginning of Sa Pa town entering a new stage of development, but also demonstrating the dedication and determination of the Party Committee, government and people of Sa Pa ethnic groups in preserving and promoting the national cultural identity and beautiful natural landscapes, contributing to affirming the position of Sa Pa on the tourism map of Vietnam and the world.

"Hopefully, through this series of events, visitors will be able to fully explore the natural beauty, culture and people of Sa Pa, and retain deep impressions during their journey to experience Sa Pa summer - the land of love and happiness," the Vice Chairman of the Sa Pa Town People's Committee emphasized.

Coming to this year's Summer Festival, visitors will be able to visit and experience many unique tourism products such as: "Rose Festival - Fansipan" with brilliant flowers in the sky (from April 26 to the end of June 2025); reenactment of "Sa Pa Love Market" imbued with highland culture (every Saturday); experience "Ethnic Cultural Space" - a miniature panorama of the culture and life of the Sa Pa ethnic minority community (from April 29 to May 2, 2025); unique art programs, gathering domestic artists, actors, and artisans (from April 29 to May 1, 2025); Festival on Ham Rong Mountain (from April 30 to May 4, 2025) and a series of other unique programs...

The April 30 and May 1 holidays are always one of the biggest tourist attractions of the year in Sa Pa.
