Border Guard Station of Hon Gai: Supporting poor households to build houses

Responding to the "450-day and night program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" launched by the Prime Minister; celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South, national reunification and looking forward to the 7th Congress of the Party Committee of the Border Guard Station of Hon Gai Port, term 2025-2030, on April 29, the Border Guard Station of Hon Gai Port coordinated with departments, branches and organizations of Quang Yen town to organize the groundbreaking ceremony to build a gratitude house for the family of Ms. Pham Thi Cup, residing in Hamlet 2, Lien Vi Commune, Quang Yen Town.

Ms. Pham Thi Cup is a disabled person, in extremely difficult circumstances, and has had to live with relatives for many years. The dream of having a solid home to stabilize her life seemed far-fetched to her, due to her poor health and limited economic conditions.

Understanding Mrs. Cup's situation, the Border Guard Station of Hon Gai coordinated with local organizations and unions to support her family in building a house with an area of over 30 square meters, with a total cost of about 50 million VND, of which the Station supported 20 million VND.

This is a work of profound humanitarian significance, demonstrating the responsibility of the Border Guard force in social security work, contributing to caring for the lives of people in coastal and border areas.
