The film brings together a cast of many generations, from veteran artists, experienced actors to new faces entering the film industry.

Among them, the appearance of actress Thuy Anh attracted attention. In recent years, Thuy Anh often acted in TV dramas in the North.

Thuy Anh auditioned for "Flip Side 8: Vong Tay Nang" and was chosen to play the role of Lan - Thu's mother (Cherry Hai My). Lan is Nhan's (Quach Ngoc Tuyen) wife.

Because Lan and Nhan both work far away, they have to leave Thu at Mr. Phuoc's (Long Dep Trai) house. Lan has to do many jobs to earn a living and send money back to her family. Even her sensitive jobs make people misunderstand her for having an affair, leaving her husband and children to follow a rich man.

When she saw Lan sitting in the back of another man's motorbike, Nhan was heartbroken and shocked but did not dare to show it in front of her daughter.

Actress Thuy Anh revealed: "I went to the casting like everyone else. When I saw the information requesting a character aged 15-17, I also thought a lot because I was already 29 years old. But I also tried to wear clothes and not wear makeup to look younger. When casting, I also had to dance and was lucky to be chosen."

Thuy Anh started acting when she was only 14 years old. She became famous when she participated in the sitcom “The Quartet 10A8”. At the age of 18, she played the role of Huyen in the movie “Flapping in the Middle of Nowhere”.

The role in "Flapping in the Middle of Nowhere" is Thuy Anh's transformation, bringing the image of a female student with a complex inner life, a deadlocked life when she accidentally found out she was pregnant at the age of 17.

After that, Thuy Anh temporarily stopped acting to focus on studying. To pursue her passion for acting, Thuy Anh moved to Ho Chi Minh City to live and work.

On the small screen, Thuy Anh made her mark by playing thorny villain roles in "A Lifetime of Enmity" or "Love and Ambition". Thuy Anh's two most recent works are "We of 8 Years Later" and "Don't Say When You Love".
