Vietnam Television will broadcast live on all channels: VTV1, VTV2, VTV3, VTV4, VTV5, VTV7, VTV8, VTV9 and VTV Can Tho, starting from 6am to 10am on April 30. The special program to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification includes: a special news bulletin (from 6am to 6:25am), an art program (from 6:25am to 7am) and immediately followed by the National Celebration Ceremony, military parade and march.
According to information from VTV, in order to convey these historical moments to millions of viewers in a realistic and vivid way, VTV has made careful preparations and coordinated with many specialized units. Specifically, with 46 cameras, for the first time, people across the country can simultaneously watch special angles: from helicopters, from the roofs of the tallest buildings in Ho Chi Minh City, or close-ups of the heroic footsteps of officers and soldiers parading. VTV also uses virtual reality AR graphics technology, integrated into some frames. In addition, a modern sound recording system with 100 independent microphones is arranged along Le Duan Street and key locations where the event takes place...
Also according to VTV, in addition to watching live TV, with 4 live signal streams on VTVgo (VTV's online viewing software), viewers can choose images according to their preferences to fully experience the emotions of the national festival using devices connected to the internet. Specifically, the first signal stream is called "Unification", which is a signal broadcast on TV including images from all VTV recording points. The second signal stream "Independence", is a panoramic view of the cannon firing and helicopter and fighter jet demonstrations in the sky. The third and fourth signal streams "Freedom - Happiness" are images of people welcoming the parades at 2 locations: the Nam Ky Khoi Nghia - Le Loi intersection and the Nam Ky Khoi Nghia - Nguyen Dinh Chieu intersection.
As for the Voice of Vietnam, in addition to live coverage of the Anniversary Ceremony, parade, and march, VOV also opened the airwaves so that VOV's resident reporters at home and abroad as well as the public nationwide could express their feelings, emotions, and pride in this important event.
To allow residents and visitors to watch the event, the Organizing Committee has arranged 21 LED screens in the central area of Ho Chi Minh City.
