Every day, Clean Water Business Branch No. 5 uses 3,000 ^{m3 of} raw water to treat sludge, flush settling tanks, and filter. This amount of water should have been discharged afterwards. However, implementing the motto of "strengthening waste prevention and improving the quality of clean water supply", the branch has recovered almost all of the above water and returned it to clean water treatment according to a closed-loop process.

Clean Water Business Branch No. 5 is effectively operating the clean water plant invested by ORET (Netherlands). Since the beginning of March 2025, the plant has always operated at full capacity with 49,000 ^m3 of clean water/day and night, ensuring to serve the clean water needs of customers in the early summer in Thach Khoi, Hai Tan, Tan Hung, Tan Binh, Thanh Binh, Viet Hoa wards (Hai Duong city), Dai An industrial park and Gia Loc district.

Faced with the increasing demand for clean water during the hot season, the branch has researched and renovated the static mixing system and the Lamella sedimentation tank distribution system, increasing the capacity from 49,000 ^m3 /day and night to 60,000 ^m3 /day and night, ready to meet customer needs. Previously in 2018, the factory invested in a Lamella sedimentation system, increasing the capacity from 20,000 ^m3 /day and night to 49,000 ^m3 /day and night.

The above activities of Clean Water Business Branch No. 5 are in response to the National Week of Clean Water and Environmental Sanitation in 2025.

In the first 4 months of this year, Clean Water Business Branch No. 5 produced and consumed over 180,000 ^m3 of commercial clean water. Thanks to effective management and operation, the clean water loss rate fell below 9.5%, the lowest in the entire Hai Duong Clean Water Business Joint Stock Company.
