Awarding of Orders and Medals of the Lao State to the Office of the President

On April 29, in Ho Chi Minh City, the ceremony to award the Order and Medal of the Lao People's Democratic Republic to the collective and officials of the Office of the President of Vietnam, who have made outstanding achievements and contributed to strengthening the special friendship, solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam-Laos, Laos-Vietnam on the occasion of the anniversary of the "Vietnam-Laos, Laos-Vietnam Solidarity and Friendship Year 2022" including the 60th anniversary of the establishment of Laos-Vietnam diplomatic relations and the 45th anniversary of the signing of the Laos-Vietnam Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation. Attending the ceremony were Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Head of the Office of the President of Vietnam Le Khanh Hai; Member of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, Head of the Office of the President of Laos Khemmani Pholsena and a number of key officials of the two Offices.

At the ceremony, the Office of the President of Vietnam was honored to receive the First Class Labor Medal from the Lao State; Director of the Office of the President Le Khanh Hai received the Second Class Freedom Medal; 2 Deputy Directors of the Office of the President of Vietnam, Ms. Phan Thi Kim Oanh and Mr. Pham Thanh Ha, were honored to receive the Third Class Freedom Medal; 10 officials of the Office of the President received the Friendship Medal and the Friendship Medal.

These are collectives and individuals who have made outstanding achievements in contributing to promoting the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two Parties, two States and peoples of Laos and Vietnam.

At the ceremony, Head of the Lao President's Office Khemmani Pholsena said that the awarding of the Order and Medal this time shows Laos' deep gratitude and appreciation to the collective and individuals of the Vietnamese President's Office for their contributions, help, and timely and effective support to the Lao President's Office in the past time as well as in strengthening the special relationship, comprehensive cooperation, and long-standing fine traditions between Laos-Vietnam, Vietnam-Laos.

In a jubilant atmosphere, filled with the spirit of friendship and intimacy, Ms. Khemmani Pholsena wished the leaders, officials and civil servants of the Office of the President of Vietnam good health, happiness and excellent completion of their tasks, continuing to achieve greater achievements, contributing to the special and friendly cooperative relationship between the two countries; wishing the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two Parties, two States and peoples of Laos-Vietnam, Vietnam-Laos to grow stronger and stronger, forever green, forever sustainable.

Expressing his emotion and pride when the collective and staff of the Office of the President of Vietnam received the Order and Medal from the State of Laos, Head of the Office of the President of Vietnam Le Khanh Hai shared his impressions of the development of Laos as well as the warm, intimate, and sincere feelings like brothers in a family between the people and staff of the two countries.

Mr. Le Khanh Hai affirmed that the friendship and cooperation between the two Presidential Offices was formed and built from the traditional, loyal and pure relationship between the two nations, built and tempered by President Ho Chi Minh and President Kaysone Phomvihane during the arduous resistance war, together with the common enemy in the struggle for independence, freedom and social progress, and continues to be sustainably developed in the current cause of national construction and protection. This is a priceless sacred asset for generations of leaders, cadres, civil servants and workers of the two Presidential Offices to preserve, cultivate and promote.

Honored to receive the noble award from Laos, especially during the days when the entire Vietnamese people are looking towards the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification, Head of the Office of the President Le Khanh Hai shares the great responsibility and actively develops the solidarity, friendship, substance, depth and effectiveness between the two Offices of the President in particular and the Vietnam-Laos relationship in general.

On behalf of the Office of the President and the officers who received the Medals, Mr. Le Khanh Hai expressed his deep gratitude to the Lao Party and State for their precious, sincere, and close comradely affection. This is an unforgettable memory, a great source of encouragement and motivation for individuals and the Office of the President in their working lives.

In his position, Head of the Office of the President Le Khanh Hai affirmed that he will continue to work with Lao friends to preserve, nurture and promote the increasingly developing cooperative relationship; wishing that the close relationship and cooperation between the Office of the President of Laos and the Office of the President of Vietnam will develop more and more firmly; the relationship between Vietnam -Laos, Laos-Vietnam will forever be green and sustainable./.
