The Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien Metro Line (Metro No. 1) is nearly 20 km long, with a total investment of more than VND 43,700 billion. After 12 years of construction, Ho Chi Minh City's first urban railway line will be operational at the end of 2024, contributing to the completion of transport infrastructure and changing the urban landscape along the route.

This urban railway line has a 2.6 km underground section through 3 stations and a 17.1 km elevated section through 11 stations, with a total length of 19.7 km (including Long Binh depot).

Thu Thiem Tunnel is a tunnel under the Saigon River, considered the longest in Southeast Asia, connecting District 1 and Thu Duc City. The project is located 27 m deep under the Saigon River, about 1.49 km long, including 370 m of submerged tunnel and 1.12 km of approach road. The tunnel has 4 lanes, 2 lanes in each direction, maximum speed 60 km/h.

This is one of the symbols of Ho Chi Minh City, helping to connect the two banks of the Saigon River, contributing to economic development and reducing traffic congestion in the central area of Ho Chi Minh City.

The East-West Highway is one of the largest transport projects in the past 50 years. The project started in 2005 and was completed in 2011, with a total investment of over VND13,400 billion. The 22 km long highway passes through 8 districts, serving millions of people, connecting the city center with Thu Thiem urban area and Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay expressway.

Not only does this route shorten travel time from east to west, it also contributes to improving the landscape, flow of Ben Nghe - Tau Hu canal and improving the urban environment.

Currently, the route is divided into two sections named Vo Van Kiet and Mai Chi Tho, connecting through the Thu Thiem tunnel. In the photo is Vo Van Kiet Street, about 13 km long, 60 m wide, from Calmette Bridge, District 1, to Highway 1, with 8-10 lanes.

Phu My Bridge is the largest cable-stayed bridge in Ho Chi Minh City, spanning the Saigon River connecting District 7 and Thu Duc City, located on Ring Road 2. Phu My Bridge, over 2 km long, opened to traffic in 2009 after 4 years of construction, with a total investment of nearly 2,100 billion VND under the BOT form.

The project connects Nguyen Van Linh and Vo Chi Cong streets, serving traffic in and out of Cat Lai and Phu Huu ports with nearly 30,000 cars, mainly heavy trucks, every day.

Ba Son Bridge, inaugurated in April 2022, is nearly 1.5 km long, 6 lanes wide, with a total investment of 3,100 billion VND. The bridge is designed with a cable-stayed structure with a 113 m high tower shaped like a dragon's head leaning towards Thu Thiem, considered a new symbol of Ho Chi Minh City.

Earlier this year, an artistic lighting system was installed, creating a highlight at night on the Saigon River.

Not far from Ba Son Bridge is Thu Thiem Bridge connecting Thu Thiem New Urban Area (Thu Duc City) with Binh Thanh District, helping to shorten travel time and promote socio-economic development in the eastern area of Ho Chi Minh City.

Construction began in 2005 and was completed after three years. The project is about 1,250 m long, 17.5 m wide with 4 lanes, with a total investment of about 1,300 billion VND.

Saigon 2 Bridge is parallel to the Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien Metro line connecting Binh Thanh District with Thu Duc City via Vo Nguyen Giap and Dien Bien Phu streets, helping to reduce traffic congestion at the eastern gateway of Ho Chi Minh City.

The bridge is nearly one kilometer long, 23.5 meters wide, and has six lanes. It was inaugurated in 2013, with a total investment of about VND1,495 billion.

Nguyen Van Linh Avenue is a vital traffic route in the south of Ho Chi Minh City, about 20 km long, belonging to Ring Road 2. The project was completed in 2007, 60-120 m wide, including 10 lanes, with a total investment of about 100 million USD.

Nguyen Van Linh Avenue is considered a vital route for economic development in the Southern region, connecting with key projects such as: Tan Thuan Export Processing Zone, Phu My Hung Urban Area, Hiep Phuoc Industrial Park, Hiep Phuoc Port, Phu My Bridge and Thu Thiem New Urban Area,...

This is a large-scale urban infrastructure project of Vietnam that was named after the late General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Nguyen Van Linh in 2000.

Pham Van Dong Avenue (formerly Tan Son Nhat - Binh Loi - Outer Ring Road) is considered the most beautiful inner-city road in Ho Chi Minh City, inaugurated in 2013. The boulevard is 14 km long, 12 lanes wide, passing through Thu Duc City, Binh Thanh and Go Vap, with a total investment of nearly 495 million USD.

This is an important radial traffic axis, connecting Tan Son Nhat airport with National Highway 13, National Highway 1 and 1K, contributing to promoting economic development, urban beautification and improving the environment of the northeastern gateway of the city.

The highlight of the route is the 1.1 km long Binh Loi Bridge, with 6 lanes in each direction. The bridge's Nielsen Arch is one of the most advanced technical structures today.

Sac Forest Road, about 36.5km long, 30m wide with six lanes running through the mangrove forest, connects Binh Khanh ferry to the center of Can Gio district.

The project plays an important role in connecting Ho Chi Minh City with the East Sea. Ho Chi Minh City is studying investment in upgrading the route with a total cost of more than VND2,100 billion, to improve traffic connections and promote socio-economic development in the Can Gio area.

Tan Son Nhat Airport Terminal 3 is a national key project symbolizing Ho Chi Minh City, which was inaugurated on April 19, at the same time as the opening of the Tran Quoc Hoan - Cong Hoa route connecting to Terminal T3.

The project, with a total investment of VND11,000 billion, is expected to help relieve traffic pressure in the Northwest gateway area and improve the capacity of aviation infrastructure.
