To meet the increased demand for connectivity during this time, network operators have increased infrastructure investment, optimized network capacity, and ensured smooth and stable service quality.

Speaking to a reporter from Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper, a Viettel representative said that in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, the network operator has deployed more than 1,000 network enhancement solutions, adding 50 5G hotspots in key areas.

Customers can experience connection speeds 10 times faster than 4G, meeting all needs from livestreaming, watching high-quality videos to working online.

Nearly 1,000 technical staff are on duty 24/7 nationwide to handle incidents, ensuring the network operates smoothly, serving people, tourists and domestic and foreign reporters.

Viettel Telecom also arranged more than 1,500 staff to be on duty during the holiday at stores nationwide, supporting customers in performing transactions such as new network connections, package registration, service care, technical troubleshooting, payment...

Similarly, in Ho Chi Minh City, MobiFone has deployed a preparation plan since the beginning of the year with more than 1,000 new 5G stations and about 300 mobile broadcasting points at all key locations, important areas such as parades, fireworks, festival areas, etc.

In addition, this network also has a roaming plan to share infrastructure, ready to support other networks to ensure the quality of mobile network services during the festival.

MobiFone also applies artificial intelligence and machine learning (ML/AI) technology to network operations to improve service quality and ensure data security for users.

During the peak days of April 30 and May 1, MobiFone mobilized nearly 500 engineers and thousands of support staff. Major technology companies in the world such as Ericsson, Huawei, Cisco, Juniper also directly participated in providing technical support to MobiFone to ensure a smooth network.

In particular, in areas with restricted access to serve the festival in Ho Chi Minh City, MobiFone has arranged backup equipment and on-site rescue personnel, ready to respond promptly if any unusual situations occur. MobiFone's hotline 18001090 is always ready to answer and support customers.

"MobiFone has synchronously deployed measures to comprehensively review security vulnerabilities, enhance defense capabilities, and reinforce information technology system security to ensure maximum safety for all operations during peak times," said a network representative.

Not staying out of the game, VNPT Group has deployed additional field broadcasting stations, mobile broadcasting vehicles at festival locations and deployed transmission lines to serve real TV stations to broadcast live events.

Up to now, VNPT's network is ready to meet customer needs at 57 event venues and tourist areas expected to attract large crowds.

In Ho Chi Minh City alone, VNPT Group has improved mobile broadcasting capacity at 18 locations to ensure customer needs are met.
