Bao Lam Women's Association organizes a seminar on women and patriotic emulation movements

Following Uncle Ho's teaching "Emulation is patriotism, patriotism requires emulation and those who emulate are the most patriotic"; in the past 5 years, Women's Unions at all levels in the district have closely followed the direction of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union, the Provincial Women's Union and the requirements of political tasks and socio-economic development goals of the locality to effectively implement patriotic emulation movements.

At the same time, constantly innovate the content and methods of operation, launch and well implement the emulation movements: "Building Lam Dong women of the new era"; "Women actively study, work creatively, build happy families"; "Women's movement of 5 no 3 clean", "Women actively participate in building new rural areas and civilized urban areas" associated with the campaign "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style".

From the practical movement, the Association has been constantly strengthened, developed, and motivated its cadres, members, and women to enthusiastically compete in studying, working, and producing, contributing to the overall results of the patriotic emulation movement in the whole district. Notably, in the past 5 years, the Association has donated 32 livelihood models to 32 members with a total amount of over 160 million VND.

In order to help each cadre and female member deeply understand the content and meaning of "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style", the Women's Union from commune to town focuses on promoting propaganda and mobilization work in many different forms, suitable for each target group: such as organizing club activities, giving talks on topics...

Awarding Certificates of Merit to women who are typical and advanced examples

After 5 years of implementation, over 83 thousand women members have registered and implemented the piggy bank model. Up to now, the whole district has 46 piggy banks saving over 44 million VND to help 20 poor women members and 37 students in difficult circumstances. The association has built 11 warm houses and repaired 2 houses for poor members with a total amount of 755 million VND, awarded 120 scholarships to poor female students who have overcome difficulties and excelled in their studies with a total amount of 60 million VND.

In order to help members have capital to invest in economic development, the Association has coordinated with the District Social Policy Bank to receive a trust of 238 billion VND to help 3,674 women borrow capital to develop production, contributing to hunger eradication and poverty reduction.

Therefore, in the past 5 years, 754 poor and near-poor women have borrowed capital from various sources to develop their economy and escape poverty. In addition, the campaigns: "Training moral qualities: self-confidence, self-respect, honesty, responsibility"; "Building a family of 5 no's, 3 clean's; 5 yes's, 3 clean's"... have been deployed and implemented effectively by the district's Women's Unions at all levels. Along with that, the Women's Unions at all levels in the district have actively participated in ensuring national defense and security; participated in building the Party, government, mobilizing society to implement gender equality; and building a strong Women's Union organization.

Women individuals honored by the District Women's Union as typical advanced examples

Speaking at the conference, Comrade K'Linh - Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Council highly appreciated the achievements of the Women's Union at all levels in the district in recent years, which have made important contributions to the socio-economic development of the district. Comrade K'Linh hopes that female members will be more active in family economic development activities, building happy families, good-natured and studious children, converting production, clearing land... in the locality. Thereby, contributing to the locality and units to successfully carry out assigned tasks in 2025 and the following years.

On this occasion, the District People's Committee awarded 7 collectives and 8 individuals with achievements in the patriotic emulation movement in various fields in the period of 2020-2025. The District Women's Union commended 10 collectives and 19 individuals with achievements in the patriotic emulation movement in various fields in the period of 2020-2025.
