Brzoska said he hasn't decided which country to file the lawsuit in, but it would be one of his efforts to hold Meta accountable for the persistent false advertising that continues to appear despite user reports.

A Meta representative stated that the company will remove fraudulent advertisements upon detection and will cooperate with relevant authorities.
Brzoska, the founder of the Polish company InPost, informed Meta about the issue in early July, but Meta has yet to offer a solution. Brzoska and his wife are demanding that Meta stop profiting from content that violates their rights and are seeking substantial compensation. The billionaire stated that the money would be donated to charity.
Last week, the Chairman of the Office for the Protection of Personal Data requested that Meta Platforms Ireland Limited cease displaying fraudulent advertisements using Brzoska and his wife's data and images on Facebook and Instagram in Poland for three months.
Meta stated that it is evaluating the decision and will continue to work with businesses, local authorities, and law enforcement to combat fraud.
