On April 19, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Dinh province announced that this year's Binh Dinh Food Festival will take place from May 1 at Nguyen Tat Thanh Square (Quy Nhon City). This event promises to be a prominent cultural and tourism highlight during the April 30 - May 1 holiday.
In the bustling and colorful space of the festival, visitors will enjoy a series of typical dishes of the land of Nau such as: Banh it la gai, tre, An Thai vermicelli with song than, nem cho Huyen or fresh seafood from Quy Nhon sea. Not only are the specialties sold, they are also demonstrated to be prepared directly by chefs from the Binh Dinh Culinary Culture Association and 4-5 star hotels in the province.

The special thing about the festival is the way the organizers integrate culture into cuisine: each dish carries a story about the land, people, ingredients and long-standing traditions preserved through generations.
Binh Dinh culinary show
Not just a simple culinary event, this year’s festival has expanded its scale with the participation of OCOP booths introducing typical agricultural products and local handicrafts. This combination creates a vivid picture of the connection between Binh Dinh cuisine, experiential tourism and sustainable agricultural development.

Notably, the festival also welcomes the participation of many domestic and international units. Up to now, there have been 55 booths registered to participate, including 23 food establishments, restaurants, and hotels in the province; 8 units from other localities such as Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Nghe An, Ho Chi Minh City, Soc Trang, Ben Tre, Thanh Hoa and 4 foreign units from Thailand, Korea, and Japan.
The two main nights of the festival will be dedicated to culinary performances, where chefs will showcase their skills to the public, combining presentation and introduction of culinary culture in an attractive way. This is considered a unique "culinary stage", connecting the art of cooking and the emotions of the diners.

At the same time, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Dinh province has coordinated with the Binh Dinh Tourism Association and travel agencies to design experiential tours combining festivals, visiting historical sites and famous landscapes. Many preferential policies on accommodation and transportation prices have also been implemented to stimulate domestic tourism during the April 30 - May 1 holiday.
