VOV.VN - After a few days of rain and floods, today (August 5), favorable weather helped many tourists comfortably visit and experience Ban Gioc waterfall tourist area (Trung Khanh, Cao Bang).

According to VOV.VN reporters on the afternoon of August 5, the Ban Gioc waterfall area was bustling with tourists checking in on the shore as well as on boats running on the river.
Shops and services for customers have been operating normally. Ban Gioc Waterfall also welcomed many groups of visitors under the trial program of traveling back and forth between Ban Gioc Waterfall Scenic Area (Vietnam) - Detian (China) during the day.
A representative of the Cao Bang branch of Vietnam Global Travel Group Joint Stock Company (VGI Travel) confirmed that on August 5, tourism activities at Ban Gioc Waterfall were taking place normally. Today, the company welcomed more than 80 Chinese tourists to visit and experience Ban Gioc Waterfall. It is expected that on August 6, the company will serve nearly 200 tourists participating in tours at Ban Gioc Waterfall.
The leader of the Ban Gioc Waterfall Management Board said that in recent days, Ban Gioc Waterfall has not been closed but has continued to implement security and safety measures to ensure service for visitors. Some visitors, especially international visitors, are still happy and satisfied despite the flood affecting the landscape at Ban Gioc Waterfall. By August 5, the weather was favorable, tourism activities were operating normally and the Management Board focused on improving the landscape and repairing some items affected by the flood.
On the afternoon of August 5, Mr. Pierre Caussin's family of 4 (French nationality) spent nearly 1 hour at Ban Gioc waterfall area.
Mr. Pierre was impressed by the majesty of the waterfall, and his children enjoyed the horse riding experience in the tourist area the most.
Mr. Pierre said that everyone felt lucky to come to Ban Gioc waterfall on a beautiful sunny day: “I had researched in advance and knew that this waterfall is quite special, located between two countries, Vietnam and China. I hope that the landscape and environment of Ban Gioc waterfall will be preserved for a long time, and tourism will develop in harmony with nature.”
Pierre’s family spent 2 days exploring Cao Bang during their 1-month trip to Vietnam, with many destinations from North to South. After the first week, what impressed them was that the people of Vietnam and Cao Bang in particular were very friendly, making foreign tourists feel safe and welcome.
Some people who drive boats carrying tourists at Ban Gioc waterfall said that due to unfavorable weather, tourism activities here have been interrupted for a few days.
