The stage recreates 19th century Europe.

Ms. Nguyen Van Linh, Deputy Director of Techcombank Retail Banking, shared: "Following the success of top art programs such as "The Seasons Ballet" and "Golden Imprint" which gathered leading Vietnamese artists, this year, Techcombank continues to bring the original opera Carmen to perform domestically. Carmen is not only a top art event, but also represents timeless values that Techcombank always wants to spread and accompany its customers. This event once again affirms the commitment to customer care, personalized experiences and outstanding wealth management services - all to honor the values of Techcombank Private customers and continue the development journey so that "values grow and flourish beyond time".

With a duration of nearly 3 hours, the Ho Guom Theater auditorium is immersed in the European art space of the 19th century. Immortal melodies such as “Habanera” or “Toreador Song” resounding from the French classical orchestra take the audience through a range of emotions, led by excellent voices and sophisticated staging by leading artists.

The whole auditorium.

With their strong vitality, rhythm, melody, music and skillful “storytelling”, the artists from three leading European theaters “held” the capital’s audience until the last moments of the two nights of performances. The audience carried away many different emotions and impressions from the realistic, expressive acting and the delicate singing that clearly expressed the personality of each character.

An international guest shared: “I have enjoyed Carmen in Europe, but tonight in Hanoi is a special experience. From the space, music to the organization, everything shows a rare sophistication and class, not inferior to when enjoying at the big theaters in the world. This is the second time I have been to Ho Guom Theater and I think the decoration today is more beautiful than all the times I have been. With the design of thousands of roses decorating right from the lobby outside the theater, it shows the meticulousness and class that the program brings to the audience in the capital.”

As the first country in Southeast Asia and the second Asian country to bring the original Carmen to the domestic art stage, Techcombank has contributed to enhancing the appearance and position of Vietnam on the Asian art map. Along with that is a unique and skillful direction of the bank when affirming that Techcombank is getting closer to international standards through events associated with world cultural heritage over the past time.
