Vietnam Chemical Corporation has a new chairman.

Mr. Phung Quang Hiep, born in 1977, holds a PhD in economics . He is a well-trained official who has held important positions in various Vinachem units, including General Director of Vietnam Chemical Finance Joint Stock Company and General Director of Southern Fertilizer Joint Stock Company.

In January 2019, Mr. Hiep was appointed to the position of Deputy General Director of Vinachem.

In June 2019, he was appointed Deputy General Director in charge of Vinachem Group.

Prior to his appointment as Chairman of the Board of Members of Vinachem, Mr. Hiep served as a Member of the Board of Members and General Director of Vinachem from February 2020.

Mr. Hiep has been appointed Chairman of the Board of Members of Vinachem, replacing Mr. Nguyen Phu Cuong, who retired on June 1st.

The General Department of Customs has a new Director General . Mr. Nguyen Van Tho, Deputy Director General of the General Department of Customs, has been appointed as Director General of the General Department of Customs effective September 1st.
