In recent days, many people holding one-letter gold bars (a series with a letter before the number, produced before 1996) and dented two-letter gold bars are worried because SJC has temporarily stopped buying.
Sharing with the press about this issue, Ms. Le Thuy Hang - General Director of SJC said that SJC gold bars are produced according to ISO 9001/2015 standards. SJC is always responsible to customers for the quality of SJC gold bars produced by the company. This has been affirmed by the trust of customers over the past nearly 36 years.
For the 1-character gold bars produced by the company before 1996, the company has set aside a period of time for customers to convert to 2-character gold bars without any cost. Currently, the company still buys 1-character SJC gold bars at the same price as 2-character SJC gold bars. The company will then process 1-character gold into 2-character SJC gold bars to sell to customers.
