On the evening of August 5th, in an exchange with reporters, the leader of the Gia Loc District Police (Hai Duong province) confirmed that an incident had just occurred in the area where a bus driver failed to comply with a stop order, repeatedly rammed into a traffic police officer, and then sped away. The incident is currently under investigation under the direction of the Traffic Police Department.
Earlier, at approximately 4:30 PM on the same day, a task force from Traffic Police Team No. 2 (Traffic Police Department - Hai Duong Provincial Police) was on patrol and inspection duty on National Highway 38B, in the Gia Loc district, when they spotted a red passenger bus with license plate 34F-009.44 traveling in the direction of Thanh Mien - Hai Duong City showing signs of violating traffic laws.

A traffic police officer signaled the vehicle to stop, but the driver continued to move forward, pushing the officer backward. The incident was recorded on video by bystanders.
In the video, traffic police officers repeatedly instruct the driver to get out of the vehicle and comply with the order. However, the driver did not stop until a motorcyclist blocked the bus. Furthermore, after the motorcyclist left, the bus driver accelerated and sped away towards Hai Duong City.
The bus driver has now been summoned by the police for questioning.
