Being locked out of your own car is not a pleasant experience, especially when it moves on its own and keeps rear-ending the $200,000 SUV in front.
The incident took place on July 28th in Yangdong, Yangjiang City, Guangdong Province, China, but only recently gained widespread attention when a video of it appeared on the social media platform Reddit.
Accordingly, an empty McLaren 600LT sports car repeatedly rear-ended a Maybach GLS parked in front of it three times in a row.
As the Maybach GLS moved forward, the McLaren, seemingly in Drive mode (D), slowly advanced and crashed into the expensive SUV. The owner of the supercar tried desperately to stop it, but failed. This happened three times, and since the clip ends, it's unclear what happened afterward.
A driverless McLaren supercar repeatedly crashes into a Maybach GLS (Video: Anti-Automatic).
When the video was shared on the social media platform Reddit, some commented that this McLaren was not a 600LT but an upgraded version, because the 600LT doesn't roll on its own like that even in D gear.
If it's a McLaren 600LT, the list price is around $200,000, which is equivalent to the price of the Maybach GLS shown in the picture.
