The VF3 runs smoothly and has a range of 215km per charge.
On August 1st, at the lobby of Landmark 81, Vietnam's tallest building (Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City), a fleet of nine commercial-version VF3 motorcycles in various colors officially appeared, attracting a large number of customers eager to see and touch this popular model firsthand.
VinFast announced that this is the first batch of VF3 vehicles delivered to customers in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. Most customers received the battery leased version, priced at 240 million VND, while the battery-purchased version costs 322 million VND.
Traveling from Go Vap District to Binh Thanh District, Ms. Thanh Phuong (32 years old, office worker) said she was interested in this mini electric car model from VinFast. After looking at it repeatedly, trying it out, and then waiting to test drive it around the Vinhomes area, Ms. Phuong commented, "The car is beautiful and drives great."
With a daily commute of 20km, Ms. Thanh Phuong hopes to own a small electric car like the VinFast VF3 to completely replace her gasoline motorbike. While it looks small in pictures, in reality, the VF3 electric car is quite substantial and larger than the Wuling Hongguang Mini EV from China.
"If we don't buy this car, what car will we buy? The VF3 model has an ideal price, I'll discuss it with my husband and we'll decide to buy this one," Ms. Phuong said confidently.

According to observations by Tuoi Tre Online , many customers, from adults to young people, enthusiastically discussed the VF3's performance and interior space when they came to see it. The test drive registration area was even overloaded at times.
Many people who came to see the car said it would be more convenient for city driving, but they were concerned about battery capacity for long-distance travel. In reality, the car's interior space is comfortable enough for four people, thanks to its wheelbase of 2,075 mm. The 16-inch rims increase the ground clearance to 191 mm, allowing the car to comfortably navigate a variety of terrains.
The VinFast VF3 is equipped with a battery pack capable of traveling up to 215 km on a single charge, with the fastest charging time from 10-70% in just 36 minutes. The electric motor delivers a maximum power of 30 kW and a maximum torque of 110 Nm, combined with rear-wheel drive (RWD) for acceleration from 0-50 km/h in 5.3 seconds.
Despite belonging to the mini SUV segment, the VF3 is still equipped by VinFast with a large 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system and paddle shifters behind the steering wheel, similar to those found in luxury cars, providing users with a convenient and impressive experience.
The car is also equipped with a driver's airbag, front disc brakes, and safety technologies such as anti-lock braking system (ABS), emergency brake assist, hill start assist, etc.

These are the production models that will be delivered to customers today. Compared to the previously revealed prototype, the production version of the VF3 is much more robust and visually appealing.
Should VF3 rent or buy batteries, and how will this reduce operating costs?
The rental price for the VF3 battery is 240 million VND, while the price with the battery is 322 million VND. If renting the battery, customers only have to pay a fee of 900,000 VND/month for distances under 1,500km/month, 1.2 million VND/month for distances between 1,500-2,500km/month, and 2 million VND/month for distances over 2,500km/month.
According to the Vietnam Register, the VinFast VF3 consumes 83.3 Wh per kilometer. With this consumption rate, the VinFast VF3 surpasses the Wuling MiniEV (88 Wh/km), becoming the most energy-efficient electric car in Vietnam, even cheaper than riding a gasoline-powered motorbike.
Currently, VinFast charges 3,858 VND per kilowatt-hour at the charging station. Therefore, the VinFast VF3 will cost 32,137 VND in electricity for every 100km traveled. However, VinFast is offering a one-year free battery charging period, meaning from now until the end of July 2025, customers can charge their batteries for free and will not incur any charging costs to operate their vehicles.
If customers rent the lowest battery package, paying 900,000 VND for a maximum range of 1,500km per month, this means an additional cost of approximately 60,000 VND per 100km. Therefore, the VinFast VF3 can be said to cost 92,137 VND per 100km of travel.
According to many customers, the VF3 is suitable for urban commuting, offering protection from the sun and preventing water from splashing on the feet, with a low selling price and low operating costs, meeting the needs of car owners.
Deliver at least 20,000 VF3 vehicles this year.
Speaking at the handover ceremony of the first batch of VF3 vehicles, Mr. Vu Anh Tuan - General Director of VinFast Vietnam - said that the company hopes to continue receiving the support and trust of a large number of customers in the future, thereby officially making the VF3 a national electric car model for everyone.
The vehicle comes with a manufacturer's warranty of up to 7 years or 160,000 km (whichever comes first), while the high-voltage battery has an 8-year warranty with no mileage limit.
According to the plan, following the first batch of vehicles, VinFast will gradually deliver VF3 cars to customers who have pre-ordered them at showrooms and distributors nationwide. It is expected that in 2024, VinFast could deliver at least 20,000 VF3 cars to customers.
