The Na Hang District Ethnic Culinary Festival 2025 took place from March 7th to March 16th, 2025. Each day, between 4 and 15 teams participated, showcasing and preparing various dishes, creating a diverse and rich culinary experience.
This year, the competition attracted 134 participating teams, including 114 teams representing the people of villages and residential areas in the district and 20 teams representing union members, workers, and civil servants from grassroots trade unions under the District Labor Federation. In this competition, chefs and local people will introduce traditional dishes and promote the rich cultural identity of the Na Hang highlands to visitors from all over.
Unlike traditional feasts in the lowlands, the feasts of the Tay, Dao, and Mong people in Na Hang bear the distinct mark of the mountains and forests, with ingredients harvested from nature such as fish from Na Hang lake, local black pigs, wild vegetables, various types of bamboo shoots, mushrooms, and characteristic spices.
