On the evening of August 4th, the Vietnam's Piano Got Talent 2024 competition was held at the Song Huong Theater ( Hue City, Thua Thien Hue Province).

The performances of the contestants in Vietnam's Piano Got Talent 2024 were incredibly diverse in style and genre.
After three days of competition, 52 attractive prizes were awarded to outstanding candidates, including many young contestants.

Particularly noteworthy in the non-professional category was contestant Nguyen Phan Tuan Hung (8 years old), from Nha Trang city, Khanh Hoa province, who is visually impaired but made an effort to participate and won third place overall in his competition category.
Ms. Phan Thi Thu Dung, Tuan Hung's mother, said that when he was only 3-4 years old, he often sang and sang the lyrics and rhythm perfectly. One time, he happened to see an acquaintance of his mother playing the piano, asked to try it, and immediately played the piece of music he had just heard.
Recognizing their son's musical talent, Tuan Hung's parents decided to find a piano teacher for him and have been tutoring him for the past two years with a teacher in Nha Trang.
According to Ms. Dung, the child faced many difficulties during the process of learning to play the piano; she couldn't see the sheet music or musical notes, and her hands were too small to have enough strength when playing.
For this year's competition, Tuan Hung practiced for about 4 months online; his teacher read the musical notes over the phone while the child played the piano by himself.

"Hearing the teachers say that my child has a talent for music, the family invested in her music education so that she could have a better future and a less difficult life," Ms. Dung shared.
According to the organizers, Vietnam's Piano Got Talent is a talent search competition with the mission of spreading the passion for piano and music to all ages, a valuable platform for young people to gain experience and freely express their passion for music.
Mr. Ta Quang Dong, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said that high-achieving contestants in this year's competition may be admitted to Hue Academy of Music if they so wish.
