Mr. Nguyen Hong Thang shared that young people are the core force, pioneering in implementing digital transformation activities. With the goal of raising awareness, providing skills and solutions to help Vietnamese youth have a safe and reliable online presence on the internet, the Ministry of Information and Communications has implemented the Online Presence program with the national domain name ".vn".

To encourage young people to participate, the program has 2 breakthroughs: 2 years of free domain names and accompanying digital services (email/website).

The domain name "biz.vn" is for newly established businesses within 1 year and for individual business households. The domain name "id.vn" is for people between the ages of 18-23.

This is an opportunity for young people to access and use their own website and email associated with their domain name, serving their learning activities, starting a business, creating online personal profiles (CVs)... The program is deployed nationwide.

Promoting the pioneering role of youth in digital transformation

The Director of the Vietnam Internet Center hopes that through this program, Vietnamese youth will promote their pioneering role in digital transformation, apply information technology, master digital technology in life to develop the economy - society, and promote digital transformation in the work of the Youth Union.

Mr. Le Duy Hung Thinh, Acting Director of the Youth Media Center, affirmed that he will accompany the Vietnam Internet Center to popularize and improve digital capacity for all Vietnamese youth.

According to the agreement of the two centers, in the coming time, activities to build, synchronize and standardize the use of websites associated with the national domain name ".vn" for grassroots youth organizations. This is the official communication channel for youth activities will be implemented.

Vietnamese youth will be raised with awareness and provided with skills and skills solutions to improve digital capacity. At the same time, digital technology will be applied in communicating about activities and movements of Youth Union and Association organizations at all levels.
