This series of activities will take place on April 19, 26, 29, and 30, in front of the headquarters of the People's Council and People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, Nguyen Hue walking street, and Ben Bach Dang park.

In addition, people can also enjoy special activities such as art performances, flower lantern parades...
Notably, tonight, Ho Chi Minh City will display thousands of drones combined with artistic fireworks in the Saigon River area (in front of Nguyen Hue walking street).
To ensure traffic safety for organizing activities, the Traffic Police Department (PC08) of Ho Chi Minh City Police Department has divided traffic and banned vehicles on more than 20 central streets of District 1.
According to Thanh Nien reporters , before the event started, people started flocking to the walking street to check-in and choose a "cool" spot.

"As a Vietnamese, I am very proud and grateful to the heroes who bravely sacrificed for peace and national independence. I was also very surprised because this year's program had many special activities such as light shows, fireworks, art performances...", Ms. Thao shared.
Ms. Thao added that this event not only helps to remind people of the nation's proud past but also has the meaning of connecting the community, spreading the spirit of solidarity, patriotism and gratitude towards previous generations.

Not missing any rehearsals or general meetings in the past few days, Ms. Nguyen Thi Bay (57 years old) emotionally shared: "My feelings right now are hard to describe, emotional mixed with pride, extremely happy and grateful for living in peace."
Mrs. Bay said that this year's ceremony was held very grandly because it only happens once every 50 years. Mrs. Bay expressed her deep gratitude to the previous generations who sacrificed to gain peace and independence for their descendants today. Despite the traffic jams and hot weather, she will still try to arrange to fully participate in the ceremony's activities.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Bay felt proud and moved to join the atmosphere before the ceremony.

The family of Mrs. Tran Thi Loan (67 years old) from Thu Duc City went to Nguyen Hue walking street at noon. Mrs. Loan said that in order not to miss any activities during the festival, her family proactively rented a motel to stay overnight.
"My family ordered the ao dai nearly 2 months ago to prepare for the April 30th ceremony. There are still a few days left until the main ceremony, but now I feel very excited and thrilled. Later, after watching the light show, I will go to Thu Thiem bridge to watch the fireworks," Ms. Loan shared.
