That is what Pham Ngoc Huy (18 years old, first year student of course D33, People's Security University) shared when talking about his pride in standing in neat ranks, participating in the parade, marching in the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the country's reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

In recent days, the image of thousands of cadres, soldiers, and police officers in neat uniforms, marching with determined steps on Le Duan Street, in front of the Independence Palace, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the country's reunification, has spread strongly in the hearts of the people.

With bright, serious faces, resilient and vibrant eyes of the young soldiers, they left many people with unforgettable, proud and emotional impressions.

Mr. Pham Ngoc Huy also felt so emotional and proud when he was honored to participate, stand in the ranks of the parade, marching with the male mobile police reserve combat soldiers. During the parade rehearsal on the morning of April 27, the male mobile police reserve combat soldiers wore dark moss green combat uniforms, white gloves, baseball caps, tactical armor, and were equipped with AK rifles.

Devote yourself to the country, worthy of previous generations

Regarding the preparation and training process for the 30/4 celebration of the 50th anniversary of the country's reunification, Huy said that since December 14, 2024, he has participated in training sessions at the Training, Professional Development and Vocational Education Center No. 2, Dong Nai Province. Despite the harsh weather, the brothers always tried, persevered, and consciously practiced from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.; continued to practice from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. from Monday to Saturday.

Huy told about the first time he marched on Le Duan Street (District 1, Ho Chi Minh City), walking in the arms of the people, in the cheers and encouragement of thousands of people, he felt very happy, proud and emotional.

"That moment made me and my friends in the parade block unforgettable, feeling extremely proud and happy, immersing ourselves in the success of the country's great ceremony. When we put on our neat uniforms, marching in the heart of the city, with the cheers of the people, I was truly proud and grateful. At that moment, I and my friends saw the history of a heroic Vietnamese nation, saw the intense patriotism boiling in every Vietnamese person, the belief in the future of the country", Pham Ngoc Huy shared.

Mr. Huy added: "My family has a tradition in the armed forces, both paternal and maternal sides have 11 people in the military and police forces. Continuing the family tradition, I feel honored and proud. The moment I stood in the solemn formation, looking at the red flag with yellow star fluttering in the blue sky, I promised myself to try harder in studying and training so that in the future I can become a good citizen, contributing to the country, worthy of previous generations."

The feeling of pride pervades the consciousness and feelings of millions of Vietnamese hearts.

Mr. Nguyen Dang Vinh, a first-year student of class D33 of the People's Security University, was also honored to be selected to participate in the parade formation of the reserve mobile police force.

Mr. Vinh also caused a stir on social networks with an extremely cute moment (giving candy to people watching the parade) with a handwritten message: "Congratulations to the lucky people who went to watch the parade, did you like it?" on the first practice night on April 25 in Ho Chi Minh City with more than 18,400 likes and thousands of shares on many websites.

Mr. Vinh shared that the parade is an important event of the country: "We promise to be more determined and responsible to participate in the parade well and complete our mission excellently. For the pride of ourselves, our families, our instructors and the Vietnamese blood that we carry in our bodies."

Major Vo Ngoc Toan (Political Department, People's Security University) said that in the past few days, he has participated in the preliminary and general rehearsals of the parade, and felt the joyful atmosphere and proud emotions that seem to have been and are covering the consciousness and emotions of millions of Vietnamese hearts before the important event of the 50th anniversary of the country's reunification, the country's connection, and the North and South's reunion.

According to Major Vo Ngoc Toan, in recent days, all Vietnamese people at home and abroad have been overwhelmed with happiness when they were able to immerse themselves in the heroic and majestic moment of the triumphal song of independence, freedom, peace and national unification.

"Across the S-shaped strip of land, the Party flag, the National flag, and the Liberation flag fluttered to affirm the truth: The Great Victory of Spring 1975 - one of the greatest revolutionary achievements in the history of the nation. It was the crystallization of the mettle, intelligence, spirit, and strength of Vietnam and international friends, the victory of the superior revolutionary ideology: "Vietnam is one, the Vietnamese people are one. Rivers may dry up, mountains may wear away, but that truth will never change," Major Vo Ngoc Toan said emotionally.
