Two district-level units, Lao Cai city and Bat Xat district, completed the survey earliest, while Muong Muong district, the last locality in the province, also completed the survey at 9:30 PM last night (August 9th).
According to the assessment, the investigation and information gathering work was carried out by the investigators in accordance with the correct procedures, the collected information was accurate and of good quality; the investigation team leaders and supervisors at the provincial and district levels regularly inspected and closely monitored their assigned areas and provided timely support and handled any situations that arose during the investigation process.
Despite the busy planting season and farmers' focus on working in the fields, the survey and data collection faced many difficulties. However, this did not affect the progress of the survey and data collection on the socio -economic situation of the 53 ethnic minority groups; during lunch breaks and evenings, the survey team throughout the province actively carried out their tasks with the goal of obtaining the most up-to-date and accurate information and data as required.
