Accordingly, the Head of the Steering Committee is the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; the Deputy Head of the Steering Committee is the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee in charge of the cultural and social fields; the Standing members of the Steering Committee include: Chief of the Provincial People's Committee Office - in charge of general work; Director of the Provincial Police - in charge of Project 06; Director of the Department of Home Affairs - in charge of administrative reform; Director of the Department of Science and Technology - in charge of science and technology development, innovation and digital transformation. The members of the Steering Committee include 17 heads of departments, branches and sectors.

The task of the Steering Committee is to research and propose to the Provincial People's Committee and the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to develop contents, programs, work plans, tasks, solutions, and inter-sectoral implementation plans on science and technology development, innovation, digital transformation, implementation of Project 06 and administrative reform in the province according to the direction of the Central Government and legal regulations.

At the same time, assist the Provincial People's Committee and the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to direct, guide, inspect and urge agencies, localities and units in the province to effectively implement the goals, tasks and solutions for science and technology development, innovation, digital transformation, deploy Project 06, administrative reform, and the Plans of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee to implement: Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation; on promoting administrative reform in the province until 2025, with a vision to 2030; on digital transformation in Lam Dong province until 2025, with a vision to 2030.

Advise and propose the Provincial People's Committee to summarize and evaluate the situation and results of implementing key tasks and solutions on science and technology development, innovation, digital transformation, implementing Project 06 and administrative reform annually and periodically according to resolutions and plans of the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Committee, etc.
